A Bit About Me
Hi My name is Jennifer Foltz and I fell in love with numbers and bookkeeping long before I ever got into the industry. I treated my personal finances as a business right from the start, utilizing programs such as Microsoft Money and Quicken. After working a few years in the corporate banking industry in Maryland, I decided I wanted a more laid back lifestyle and moved to Southport, N.C. After living and working in Southport for several years as an Office Manager and Bookkeeper for a small business, I moved to Wilmington, NC. Since being in Wilmington, I have worked for several businesses as an Office Manager and Bookkeeper. I spent several years working at an accounting firm where I serviced over 30 clients doing monthly bookkeeping, payroll, and sales tax filings.
In 2023, I started my own business helping small businesses with their monthly bookkeeping and helping them know and understand their numbers. With so much automation going on in the world today, many bookkeepers are stumped when automation does not work correctly, as it often does. I have been doing this since before automation came into play and prefer a more hands on approach. This approach helps my clients understand their finances in ways they never thought possible with an accuracy and precision that automation can not provide.
